Robert Francis Hall Sr, 74, of the Skowkale Indian Reservation in Chilliwack, BC; passed away at his home surrounded by his family on August 29, 2018.

Robert is survived by his wife Rebecca of 32 years, daughters Wynona Hall, Sheridan Lewis, Helena Paul, Chelan Charlie, sons Robert William Hall, Robert Francis Hall Jr, Williard Hall, Jan Charlie, brothers Phil, Don, Gord, Barry Leon, Randall Leon, sisters Vivian , Joy, Cheryl Charlie, Dena Leon, 19 grandchildren, one great grandchild and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bob was always proud of his family and where he came from. While Bob was a man focused on his large circle of friends and family, he was also a warrior, a teacher, a leader and an entrepreneur. Bob loved to golf, ski, play texas hold em, hunt (especially for ducks), fish, ride his Harley (especially with his good wife Becky), and make a buck with countless business partners, always based on a handshake and nothing more - to Bob trust was everything.

Bob leaves with us his legacy, or better said - legacies. From his bold bravery in fighting to protect our Indigenous rights through the Red Power movement to his tender and loving care he expressed daily to Becky and his family.

A special thank you to Dr. Matsumura and his team in Ensenada Mexico, as well as the homecare nurses here in Chilliwack who came to tend to him and Dr. Ko, Ongology, Abbotsford Cancer Center. Also, thank you to Henderson's Funeral Home for all the arrangements.

Services were held at St. Mary's Church in Chilliwack on September 1, 2018. He was laid to rest at the Skowkale Cemetery.
