“Safe in the arms of Jesus”
Born in North Battleford, SK, Bob moved to Quesnel in 1935 and then Prince George where he spent a short time in the Armed Forces.
Bob married Audrey Shields in 1946. They moved to Langley in 1972 and retired to Chilliwack in 1990.
Bob was an avid gardener; he spent many happy years camping and fishing; in his retirement he also enjoyed golf.
After bravely battling cancer for many years, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Audrey; his children: Sandra (John), Tim (Kathy), Kevin (Julia) and Robert Jr.; grandchildren: Jordan, Tara (Steve), James, Chelsea and Jeff; many extended family and friends.
Bob is predeceased by his 10 siblings.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Rd, Chilliwack, BC .
