Rita Waltraud Henschel

Rita Waltraud Henschel went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2022 in Chilliwack at the age of 93. She was a music teacher and together with her husband Erich pastored in several congregations. She was interested in people and was actively involved in lending a helping hand until the end of her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Cornelia (David) Kauenhowen, Karin (Manfred) Fehlauer, Holger (Brigitte) Henschel and Peter (Anna) Henschel, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sister Eva Junker, sisters-in-law Irmgard Reich, Ingrid (Herbert) Engelbrecht and Gerda Gusse, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Erich.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Chilliwack Church of God, 45814 Lewis Avenue.
