“Ole Reet” had 91 years here and thought it was time to visit all her “Buds” that have passed before her. They’ll be enjoying Gin and Tonics and reminiscing about the days they enjoyed laughing, cooking, partying and playing bridge. Mom’s true passion was gardening and raising her kids.
Rita leaves her sister Vera, sons Ross (Barb) and Paul (Maryann) and 3 of the best grandkids you would ever dream of, Natalie, Hayley and Sydney that Rita adored. Her husband Doug passed away years ago after 49 years of marital bliss. So many thank yous to the Gang at the Heritage Village for the years of making mom’s life more enjoyable and entertaining.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Sept. 26/09 at 11:00 AM from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
