Aug 8, 1943 - Dec 1, 2017
Richard passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital on December 1, 2017 surrounded by love. He was 74 years old.

His 3 daughters were able to sing to him and pray with him as his Saviour welcomed him into His loving arms. He was legally blind for many years and was recently suffering from dementia. From what Scripture teaches, we have the confidence that he is now able to have clear thoughts and sight!

Richard was a hard-working husband, father and grandfather who was proud of his family. He enjoyed working on his farm in Greendale and working at York Farms for most of his career. Richard was known in the community for his dependability and his strong work ethic. He was also known for his work as a custom bailer and an avid volunteer at his church in maintaining the building and grounds. He was always willing to lend a hand.

Richard was predeceased by his parents Fred & Adele Foth, his beloved wife Anne and his very dear sister Hannelore (Helen) Roelofsen.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sheryl (Brad) Hagkull, Christine (Dave) Walker and Heather (David) Woon, and seven grandchildren - Jordan (Larissa), Christopher, Caleb, Benjamin, James, Jonah and Anna. His absence will also be felt by many relatives, those in his church family and friends.

A gathering to remember and celebrate Richard's life will take place on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church in Greendale. All are welcome.
