It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rhoda Dennis after a brief illness at the Chilliwack General Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband Bob Dennis in 1986 and is survived by her daughter Marie Hoeft (David) of Southey, Sask. and son Ray Dennis (Bev) of Chilliwack, 5 grandchildren; Tana (Darryl), Jaime, Colin (Leanne), Sarah (David), Heather (Kieron) and one great-granddaughter Emma.
Rhoda’s career found her in the telephone company in early years then ladies wear at Smiths, Eaton’s and Sears where she enjoyed serving the public.
She enjoyed her travels and especially the trips to the casinos.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Henderson’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
