Reid Howard Williams of Chilliwack went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2021 at the age of 72. Reid is lovingly remembered by his wife Carlea, son Clint, son Drew and daughter in law Mandy, son Nowell, daughter in law Amy, 4 grandchildren, Elexa, Hayden, Madison and Eve, brother Ken Williams, sister Christina Reed and Wayne Tribe, sister Arleen Townsend and brother in law Lyle, brother in law Ken Bazin and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Father, Mother, Brother Gordon and Sister Barbara.
Reid was born in Vancouver, and grew up in the Willoughby area of Langley. He loved playing sports, playing trumpet in the band and square dancing as a family.
Reid worked for the One Way Adventure Foundation for 5 years a Christian Mission that worked with troubled youth, then for the Burnaby School Board for 32 years. Reid loved kids especially his grandkids. He would always stop to chat with anyone no matter who you were! Reid was an active member of Loft Country Langley for 20 years, a place very dear to his heart.
The trip to the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge Tennessee in 2017 was a momentous occasion for him and the music forever flowed through his veins.
He loved watching hockey and football and the competition of Fantasy Hockey leagues.
