Pierre Louis (Lou) Romailler passed away peacefully at home Monday August 10, at the age of 81, after losing a short battle with brain cancer.
Born June 13, 1939, Lou grew up in Kamloops, BC then spent his later teens and early twenties in Prince George, BC.
In the 60s he came back to the Lumby area where he met Eleanor Sande, he married her only 3 months later and enjoyed the next 54 years with the love of his life.
He spent most of those years doing the job he loved as an owner operator, hauling logs.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor his sons Tony, Tory (Tara), Peter (Erin), and daughter Amber (Terry Kineshanko), his sisters Ann, Adeline and Chris.
He was predeceased by his sons Todd and Aeron and his brothers Jon, Bernard, and Boyd.
He was loved by his grandchildren Tyler, Emily, Jordan, Peter, Jenna, Josh, Nathan, Hayden, his great grandson Logan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to covid 19 restrictions a small gathering of immediate family will be held.
