Phyllis was born on August 7th, 1954 in Toledo Oregon and passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2011 in Chilliwack, BC.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, John (Red) Taylor, of 40 years.

Her father Lynn Harlan; mother Betty Korop; brother Tom Korop and niece Hailey Korop. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Phillip) Schweers of Kelowna and Angela (Jason) Taylor of Chilliwack. Grandchildren, Serenity and Jonathan; brothers, Gary (Cindy) Harlan of Blaine, WA, Ron (Barb) Korop of Chilliwack; sisters, Joanne (Wayne) Connelly of Pitt Meadows and Cherial Korop of Maple Ridge.

Also survived by nephews, Adam, Levi, Tom, Johnny, Cole and niece, Amanda; her extended family Al Waldy, Hugo Becker, Doug Issac, Stan Nickel and members of the “Nomads.” As well as many more family and friends.

Phyllis loved many things in life including her Harley’s, old cars and rock ’n roll. She loved to garden, can, cook and made the best tamales this side of Mexico.

She will be dearly missed but welcomed with loving arms by Red as they take their final and eternal road trip together on his Harley.

Funeral arrangements in care of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, Sat., May 14th. Public viewing from 1-2 pm. Service, 2:00 pm. Reception to follow at her home.
