Phyllis went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family whom she dearly loved and cherished. She passed away peacefully at Chilliwack General Hospital.
Her devoted husband and family were the joy of her life. It always gave her great pleasure to cook, sew, and crochet for them. Her other interests included playing the organ, lawn bowling, and she was an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast. Phyllis was especially blessed to have her granddaughter Kelly R.N. at her side both at home and in the hospital.
A special heartfelt thanks to the dedicated nursing staff on Nursing Unit 4 and Medical Short Stay Unit at the Chilliwack General Hospital for the loving care Phyllis received and deep appreciation to Dr. H. Bright and Dr. Katie Wilson.
She is greatly loved and will always be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
A private family memorial will be held in Celebration of her Life.
