Phyllis Dickson passed away peacefully on October 21, 2010 at the age of 96. Phyllis was born on November 20, 1913 in Elland, England.
She moved to Canada in 1946 with her husband, Norval Dickson, and their two daughters, eventually settling in Chilliwack, B.C. where Norval was stationed with the Canadian Forces.
Phyllis was pre-deceased by Norval in 1965, and is survived by her daughters, Patricia Gillis (Keith) and Margaret Friesen (Dave). She will also be missed by her five grandchildren, Paul (Claire), Sandra (Todd), Russ (Megan), Rob (Tara), and Jeff, as well as her two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas.
Phyllis enjoyed a long, healthy life and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family will be having a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
