Phillip Van Santen

Phillip Van Santen went home to be with Jesus on November 11, 2022 at age 39. Phillip was born to Leo & Laura van Santen on July 23, 1983 in Chilliwack, BC
From childhood on, Phillip had such a zest for life and adventurous spirit.
Phillip attended High Road Academy kindergarten through grade 12 and graduated in 2001. During his final year of high school he helped lead the senior basketball team to the provincial championships.
Phillip met his wife, Kristin in May 2001 and on August 2, 2008 they were married.
Once completing high school, Phil enjoyed working landscaping with his brothers in the family business and then went on to apprenticing for his Uncles in construction.
Phillip's hobbies included reading, history, and fitness. He had a passion for MMA but it came to a short second to spending time with his brothers, his uncles and Aunties, his many cousins and friends.
Phillip was a people person and he made friends wherever he went.
Throughout Phil's entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. One of Phil's favourite bible verses was: Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "
Phillip is survived by his parents Leo and Laura van Santen, wife Kristin, sons Travis, Logan and Carter. Daughters Adyson and Ariella. Granddaughter Ivory
Three brothers Stephen (Madison), Andrew (Kayla), Johan (Kaillie), Nieces Alivia, Emelyn and Lucy, Nephews Titus, Arden, Elias and Silas.
Celebration of life to be held at City Life Church 46641 Chilliwack Central Rd. Saturday November 26 at 11:30am
