With grievous hearts we would like to share the sad news of the passing of our beloved Husband and Father and Grandfather.
Born in Saskatchewan in 1926, Pete passed away October 18, 2008 at Chilliwack General Hospital with his wife Helen of 60 years by his side.
He leaves to mourn Helen (wife); daughters: Patricia (Ted Harvey), Sharon (Ralph Chruikshanks); grandchildren: Shawn (Keri), Heather, Amie (Neil), Miranda (Greg), Kelsey (Reece); and sisters Kay and Vi; and brother Dick (Margaret); and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Larry in 1972.
He lived a full life right to the end, camping, fishing and dancing. We will miss his infectious laugh and his inspiring vision.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2 pm at the Salvation Army Chilliwack Community Church, 46420 Brooks Avenue, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart Foundation or the Salvation Army.
