Peter Boes Sr. passed away peacefully at his residence on September 5, 2003.
Predeceased by his wife, Maaike Boes on March 2, 1991.
Peter is survived by his loving family, four sons — Ron (Bonnie) — Yarrow, B.C., Ed — Chilliwack, B.C., Peter Jr. (Brunette) — Columbia Valley, B.C., and Gerald (Annette) — Calgary, Alta.; seven daughters, Lucy (Paul) Jemson — Surrey, B.C., Nancy (Ralph) Fennema — Chilliwack, B.C., Shirley(Lute) Prinsen — Grand Valley, Ont., Denise (Ron) Meyer — Yarrow, B.C., Marilyn (Henery) Breukelman — Dunnville, Ont., Irene (Bev) Pickering— St. Albert, Alta., and Sheryl (Les) VanEgmond— Fenwick, Ont.; and 26 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003 from 7-8 pm.at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 at 1 p.m. from the Canadian Reformed Church on Chilliwack Central Rd. Rev M. Van Luik officiating. Interment to follow beside his wife at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
