Percy Lance Buckle, peacefully at his home in Lindell Beach, on Monday, November 21, 2005. Percy was 91 years of age.
Predeceased by two wives, Eleanor and Kathy, Percy is survived by his sons, Rex, Ted (Laura), Ron (Susie) and his daughter, Sue (Henry). He leaves, also, his grandchildren Ahren (Cynthia), Chad (Krissy), Dan, Josh, Joe and Megan; two great granddaughters, Olivia and Kaitlin; his sister Albreda; nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Percy owned and operated several businesses in Mission and Chilliwack, including Payton & Buckle Shoes and Rex Cox Men’s Wear.
He was active in the United Church and other community-service areas including serving a term as an alderman.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 15, 2005 from 2:00 — 4:00 p.m. at Percy’s residence, 2039 Carol Avenue, Lindell Beach, B.C. (Far end of Cultus Lake, right on Lindell Avenue, left at Tenth to the end.)
