Pearl Ramona NEWMAN

Pearl Ramona Newman, age 79, died Thursday, February 21, 2008. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on January 17, 1929, the daughter of Henry and Anna Buhler.

They moved to the Fraser Valley and ran a farm with 16 children. There is one surviving sibling, Hartley Buhler.

Pearl moved to the United States after marrying Donald Newman in 1954 and settled in Lynnwood, WA.

They had three children: daughter, Gayle; and two sons: Lee and Stuart. Stuart passed away in 2006.

Pearl was a great wife and mother who stayed at home with the children and had quite a talent for cake decorating, sewing, and all things creative.

She suffered for years with Alzheimer’s and is now at peace, with God.

Survived by daughter, Gayle Montoya (David); son, Lee (Kim) Newman; grandchildren: Nicole, Scott, Jared Sorensen and Lauren Newman, and former husband and friend, Don (Donna) Newman.
