Pauline Lucas passed away September 28, 2013 at the age of 80. Her two daughters were by her side. Pauline was born July 6, 1933 in Kayville, SK. She grew up in a farming community sharing a home with her parents Andrei and Margareta Juravle, brothers Joe (oldest) and Eli (youngest) Juravle. She left Kayville to pursue work in Regina, Sask. where she met and married John Henry Lucas on April 10, 1952. Pauline had the chance to live in many different places being married to a man in the army. They had 3 children, Kenneth Lucas, the oldest, Laura Rossnagel born 1956 and Sandra (Todd) Haight, born 1965. In 1967 John and Pauline decided to make Chilliwack their permanent home. Pauline worked at York Farms for many years. She was actively involved with Girl Guides and joined a bowling league. Once retired, they enjoyed visiting life long friends and family. John passed away in 2007 and Pauline went to reside at Heritage Village. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11am at Woodlawn Mt.
