Paul Rauer passed away peacefully at the Chilliwack General Hospital on June 14, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. Poul was born in Denmark on September 27, 1934 and came to Canada in 1956 where he met his wife Bente. Poul worked at Northwood Pulp in Prince George for 30 years retiring to Chilliwack in 1996. Survived by his wife Bente, son Carsten, Annette and grandaughter Kaitlyn, sister Wivi(Taja), brothers Neils and Claus and numerous neices and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. No service per his request.
