Paul passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 78 years. He was born March 28, 1934 in Chilliwack, BC. Paul is survived by his wife Joan; son, Evan (Suzie); daughter, Sarah (Frederic); grandchildren: Zachary, Ben, Raphael and Owen; and brothers, Ivan and Gary. He was predeceased by his mother, Vera, and his father, Evan Inkman. There will be no formal service but a gathering to celebrate Paul’s life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 2-4 pm at 469 Naismith Ave, Harrison Hot Springs, BC. Paul was a member of the Chilliwack Rotary Club. Paul graduated from UBC with a BCom and worked in BC, Alberta and Ontario. Paul came back to Harrison to help run the family business in 1970 and built it up to what is known today as the Harrison Village Mall and Inkman’s Village Gifts. He also served as an alderman and mayor of Harrison Hot Springs in later years and was especially proud of his involvement with the Rotary Club of Chilliwack.
