Our Dad passed away peacefully at the Glenwood Care Centre in Agassiz at the age of 93. He was born in Switzerland and married our Mom (Ruth) there in 1950. They travelled & worked for the next 4 years and then settled in Chilliwack in 1954. They had 3 children and he was a very good family provider.
He enjoyed his cabin on Nixon Hill, model railroading with his good friend George, sculpting with clay, dinners out with a few special friends & he loved the sun! He even enjoyed babysitting sheep farms when relatives travelled! After retiring in 1983 they travelled together extensively all over the world. He often said he had a good life!
He was predeceased by his wife Ruth, married for 67 years. They leave behind 3 children, Mark (Glenda), Sandy (Garry), and Kay, 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. No Service by request.
