Opal McFarlane passed away March 4, 2006 at Burnaby General Hospital.
She was born July 7, 1910 in Angusville, Manitoba and mostly lived in the last 57 years in Chilliwack and Lindell Beach. She is survived by a sister Jesse in Thunder Bay, sons Jim and wife Noreen McFarlane of Coquitlam, BC and Wayne and wife Jean McFarlane of Surrey, BC, grandchildren James, Gary, Leslie and Christine and great-grandchildren Maridee Opal, Sarah and Jeremy.
Opal often played the piano and organ to the delight of family and friends. Opal’s husband Ross McFarlane passed away in 1986.
