(Dec. 30, 1917 - Feb. 27, 2009)

A proud yet humble WWII veteran (1939-1945) has passed away.

Dad is survived by his best friend and wife, Martha; his son Callum (Caroline); daughters: Susan and Maureen (Steve), their children and family in BC, Ontario and the US.

The everlasting effects of his life range from the sound of his belly laughs while watching Wyllie Coyote and the Road Runner to teaching his sons to stand up for themselves with integrity to leaving no environmental footprint before it was the popular thing to do, to eating oranges with his granddaughter — and these only touch the surface.

Dad is sadly preceded by his eldest son Bruce. A service to celebrate his life was held on March 2, 2009. Thank you to all the friends and neighbours who support our Mother through this challenging time.

A notable acknowledgement to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 280, for their honoring of Norman. We are grateful.
