August 13, 1978 - January 15, 2023
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Nick Knoke on January 15th, 2023. Nick will be remembered as a loving husband, dedicated father, son, brother, uncle, coach, and great friend to many.
Nick was born in Richmond, BC on August 13th, 1978, and grew up in Rosedale, BC.
Nick leaves behind his loving wife Jessy, two sons Wyatt and Logan, mom Clara, dad Dan, grandmother Dorina, sister Michelle, nephew and niece Blake and Brooke, mother-in-law Susan, sister-in-law Teale, and nephews Theo and Dylan.
Nick lived a life surrounded by love and friendship. His passion for football showed through on the field while coaching his kids' teams. He dedicated a large portion of his life to passing on his knowledge of the game and always enjoyed the rewarding feeling of the kids learning and having fun.
Nick also loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting with his father and friends, playing baseball, ocean fishing, and camping with family and friends. Many memories have been made on these unforgettable adventures. During these times Nick taught us many things such as Jeeps don't float, bikes have a hard time being ridden down porch stairs, and biodegradable sunscreen doesn't work in water. We also know that the Colts rule, Garth Brooks rocks and vodka can be mixed with anything.
Nick, you have left us all too soon, but your smile and laugh will be etched in all our hearts for times to come. Until we meet again.
Nick's Celebration of Life will be held on February 25th at 1pm with reception to follow at the Agassiz Agricultural Hall - 6800 Pioneer Ave in Agassiz, BC.
