Nessie Loucks, late of New Westminster, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002 at Eagle Ridge Hospital, after a valiantly-fought battle with cancer. She was 70 years old. Nessie resided in Chilliwack for 20 years and retired from the Ministry of Children and Family (Chilliwack office) after 20 years of service.
Nessie will be sadly missed by her son, Chris Loucks of Maple Ridge; and three daughters: Holly Warner of Sardis, Heidi Templeton (Duane) of Maple Ridge, Nancy Omond of Surrey; six grandchildren: Genele, Courtney, Ben, Lindsay, Zoe and Derek. A private family gathering was held and if friends so desire, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her name.
