BERGMANN Nellie. Sept. 7, 1939 ~ July 29, 2013. Nellie Bergmann of Yarrow, BC was called home by the Lord on Monday, July 29, 2013. Nellie was born in Waldheim, Ukraine, Russia to the late Peter and Agnes Klassen. In 1957, years after immigrating to Canada, Nellie met and married her true love, Ron Bergmann in Greendale, BC. Together they raised their three children on numerous farms around the Fraser Valley, and later enjoyed the company of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nellie loved to share her talents with the community; whether volunteering in MCC, libraries and sewing groups, or just baking and cooking for her family, all were touched by her strength and her love. She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Ron Bergmann, children Dan (Heather) Bergmann, Rick (Edi) Bergmann, and Cheryl (Dan) Gossen as well as ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many other family members and friends. A viewing for Nellie will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Yarrow Mennonite Brethren Church from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Yarrow MB Church, 41995 Yarrow Central Road. www.wiebeandjeskefh.com
