Neil's battle with ALS ended on April 13, 2016 and he has now gone home to be with his Lord and Savior. Born in Rochdale, England, Neil moved to Ontario, Canada at the young age of 5. In 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Donna Dean and moved to Port Alberni, BC. He worked at the Paper Mill as a carpenter there for 33 years. Neil leaves behind his wife, Donna, daughter Deana (Anders) and their children Arella and Evelyn, and daughter Leanne (Philip) and their children Landon and Jenaya. Neil had a love for music, travelling, soaking up the sun and for his family. He could often be found helping others with their home renovation projects or creating gifts in his workshop for his grandkids. Through his daily life and actions, his love for the Lord shone through him. While we miss him dearly, we are so thankful that he is now free of his earthly body and rejoice in knowing that he is with Jesus. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 7, 2016 at 2 pm at First Ave Christian Assembly 46510 First Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
