Nancy Floy Peterson, late of Chilliwack and formerly of Burnaby passed away March 17th in her home at the age of 80. She had lived in this area for 50 years.
Nancy was a school teacher at Sardis Secondary in the English department. She was involved in the church, worked in the soup kitchen, the thrift shop, UCW and the Mary Mack Group (refugee.) Her hobbies included gardening, reading, puzzles and walking.
A funeral service will be held at the Chilliwack United Church on Friday, March 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. Interment in the Chilliwack Cemeteries.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Peterson and foster son, Minh Hoang.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Don.
