(Feb. 9, 1924 – Dec. 25, 2007)

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Mom ‘Cis’ on Christmas Day.

Her spirit was lifted from earth on the backs of snowflakes that fell that day. We always hoped for a White Christmas and she made it happen!

She loved winter and snow and embraced each season and what it had to offer.

She was born in Vancouver and moved to Chilliwack in 1954 into a new home that her and Ron designed and built.

She worked at Coqualeetza and the Federal Government, where she retired.

Mom leaves behind her daughter, Paula (Buck); four grandchildren: Pete, Tom, Jody and Wes; numerous nieces and nephews and her best friends Peppy and Tweety Pie.

Myrt was predeceased by her husband, Ron in 1997; her son, Ron in 2005; her parents, Anna and Henry; two sisters, May and Lil; and three brothers, George, Stan and Percy.

Mom was the last of the original Pender Harbour Andersons where the family gathered every summer for great fishing and fun. She loved to cook and read her cook books daily as if they were novels. She also loved her gardens and anyone who was invited for a BBQ would certainly agree.

Myrt will be missed dearly by all those that knew of her zest for life. Special thanks to Bruce, Rick and Shannon, Jannie, Pat, Linda, Deanna, Pearl, Elaine and Tammy and family; and to Dr. Bright and the wonderful and caring nursing staff at CGH.

Love you Mom, you are now with Pop and Ron, rest and enjoy!
