Born in Saskatoon to William and Silvia Rathie.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Allinott.
Joan and Don were married in Saskatoon on July 7, 1957. She is also survived by children, Bill (Patti); Scott (Kathy); Kelly (Shannon); Twyla (James). She is also survived by grandchildren Elisha, Jaylene, Dallas, Carson, Bret, Nicholas, Eric, Julia and ?
She is pre-deceased by sister Gladys (Tudi) Wakeman and brother Lenard Rathie and also survived by her brother Wayne Rathie and her many nieces and nephew.
A Memorial luncheon will be held at the OAP Hall at Twin Rinks, 5725 Tyson Road, Chilliwack, on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 1-3:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
