John Richard Edgar was born Oct. 31, 1934 at VGH and passed away April 24, 2009 at CGH at the age of 74 years from pancreatic cancer.
John spent over 25 years in the RCAF and Armed Forces before retiring to Penticton where he spent his childhood. He then moved to Vancouver to be closer to his daughter, Anne.
John leaves to mourn three daughters, Brenda (Jim) of Slocan Park, Janine (Ray) Senger of Princeton and Anne (Ben) of Vancouver; two grandchildren: Ty and Jordyn Senger of Princeton; his brother, Gary of Burnaby and four nephews. Also, Hazel and Edgar Wilson.
Services and burial will be in Penticton. A graveside gathering will be held in Penticton June 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm. If friends so desire a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
