Murray Cooper Mackie

Murray Cooper Mackie passed on Monday July 8th, 2019 in Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 87 years.
Murray leaves to grieve his loving family, sons Ian (Deb) of Brandon, Manitoba, Bryan (Cheryl) and Dean of Chilliwack, grandchildren Jason, Mathew, Michael, Cassandra and Allyn, great grandchildren Juillianna, Joseph and Jacquelyn.
He was predeceased by both parents, his wife Shirley Marie Mackie. Murray lived his life to the fullest - devoted to his wife and family. Murray graduated from Victoria High School in 1949 and worked with CIBC Bank from 1949 to 1995 when her retired from CIBC. He was also a Kiwanis. As time allowed he pursued his interests such as bowling, wine-making and gardening.
The family requests no flowers but welcomes donations to the BC Cancer Society. A Celebration of Murray's Life will be held on Monday July 22, 2019 at 1 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home - 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack, BC.
