Ayleen Green passed away August 21 after a courageous fight against cancer.
She will be lovingly missed by her family; daughter Judy Simmill (Jim), son Lyle Green (Heather), grandchildren Mindy (Matt), Melissa, Lindsey and Jordan, and brother Guy (Sandra). Ayleen was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Robert (Bob) Green and her brother Eldon (Kay).
Ayleen was the epitome of infinite patience, kindness, thoughtfulness and devotion to her family. She would have walked on fire if it would help us. She was always there for us without exception and she will always be remembered for teaching us so much about true love, commitment and loyalty. We all benefited from her love and guidance and we hope we will always make her proud as she watches us now from above.
A Memorial Service for Mom will be held at Carman United Church, 7258 Vedder Rd., Sardis, on Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ayleen’s memory to the BC Cancer Society.
