Morris Pallet

Morris passed away at the age of 92 at the Chilliwack General Hospital. He was born in Lachine Quebec, although he recently called Sardis his home.

Morris was a World War II veteran and served overseas from 1940 to 1946 with the Canadian Armed Forces. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Amy of 59 years, his daughter Donna-Lee and his son Wayne.A Military Service has been arranged through the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #280, Vedder Road, to be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 11:00am, Vedder View Cemetery, 44675 Watson Road, Sardis. Reception will be held after the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #280, 5661 Vedder Road, in the Merritt Room. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to Bill Bailey and his team of Paramedics, Dr. Fitzpatrick and Suzanne of Chilliwack General Hospital Emergency for their tireless efforts. Also, Dean and the team of the Palliative Care Unit for their support. If friends so desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. Cremation and burial arrangements in care of McLean’s Funeral Services Ltd.
