March 8, 1967 - January 6, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mitzi Walasek on January 6th, 2025.
She was born in Camrose, Alberta on March 8, 1967, but moved to Chilliwack as a young child and remained a lifelong resident. She graduated from Sardis Secondary in 1985 and went on to become a certified Dental Assistant.
She is survived by her mother Tisha, her sister Jeannie, brother in law Craig, her niece and nephew Sienna and Nicolas, her loving partner Kevin, and many extended family members in Europe. She was predeceased by her father Tex Walasek in 2016.
She was a ray of sunshine who lived her life with kindness, a ready smile, and an infectious laugh. She loved her family, friends and coworkers, and her many outdoor adventures.
Celebration of Life to be held February 23, 2025 at 1pm at the Chilliwack Coast Hotel, 45920 First Ave, Chilliwack.
