1931-2020 ~ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our family's matriarch. Beloved mother, grandmother great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and much loved friend. Mom fought a valiant fight with COVID-19, but slipped away December 25 at 10:10 pm to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was predeceased by her brother Dr. Henry Stoffels. Millie is lovingly survived by her beloved husband Peter of 70 plus years, son Keith and daughter-in-law Charlene, son Michael, granddaughter, Jaylene and husband Manny, great grandchildren, Michael, Markus and Julia, and Nicole, sister Herta Stoffels, sister in law Blossom Stoffels, niece Leone (Fred King) and family in Toronto and a respected extended family in South Africa.
Millie had a tremendous love for children and had many "grandchildren" that she called her own. Millie worked in Sardis for over 30 years at Zellers, K-Mart and Walmart and was a well-known and a well-loved team member.
She excelled in cooking and loved to watch TV cooking shows. Her South African dishes were beyond excellence. Mom will be sorely missed by all the lives she touched.
