Mildred (Midge) Reaume

December 31, 1931 - June 3, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Midred Reaume (Midge). Midge passed away on June 3, 2022 at age 90. She died peacefully at the Chilliwack Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Midge was born in 1931 to the late Albert and Joy Stevens in Creston, BC. She is survived by her partner, Lloyd Haglund and her three children Richard and Michelle Reaume, Nola Slade and two step children Angela Brown and Sterling Haglund. Midge enjoyed her time with her four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Midge had a good life filled with camping, gardening, curling and travelling with her soul mate Lloyd Haglund at her side. Midge loved flowers and spent hours upon hours pruning and planting her garden beds. She won several awards for the beautiful gardens. Lloyd and Midge travelled to many destinations around the world. They also loved to go on camping adventure often taking their granddaughter Sarah with them.
Midge was an active member of her church and community. Midge was a big part of the 12 step program helping others as she was able. Having become sober in 2001 herself.
Her many friends and family will miss her dearly but are comforted knowing she is now in Heaven. She will not be forgotten.
A service will be held on June 29th at 1:00 PM at the Cheam View United Church, 45835 Spadina Ave, Chilliwack, BC. All are welcome.
