Late of Chilliwack, passed away May 18, 2009 in New Westminster, BC at age 87. She was born March 6, 1922 in Saskatchewan and grew up in Mission, BC.

In her spare time she volunteered for the Lions Thrift Shop, knit scarves and toques for everyone, loved to gamble and spread cheer and good wishes to everyone she met.

Mildred lived and worked in various places in BC. Vancouver, Revelstoke, Ft. St. John and spent the last 40 years in Chilliwack. Having a deaf daughter, she dedicated many years to improving the lives of the hearing impaired.

She is survived by sister Christina; three sons: Duncan (Diane), Donald (Brenda), Leslie; and one daughter, Lorraine; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by Peter Sieben in 1984.

She will be sadly missed by all; a tiny lady with a big heart and spirit, who touched many lives.

A celebration of life was held at Chilliwack Senior Veterans Society, 9233 Main St., Chilliwack on Saturday, May 23, 2009 starting at 1:00 pm. The family invites friends to come by and share “Mildred Memories” and refreshments with them.

Cremation was at Chilliwack.
