It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dad and brother, Michael McKeown on June 15, 2009 at VGH, at the age of 56 years. He was born on November 5, 1953 in Vancouver, BC.
Mike enjoyed his years living in Grand Forks, BC, coaching and umpiring youth baseball. The last six years he dedicated his life to raising his youngest son Josh. He was predeceased by his father, Allan McKeown; mother, Wanda McKeown and brother Rick McKeown.
He is survived by his children, Matthew (Ashley) Jessica & Josh; brothers, Brad, Scott, Todd and Rusty (Tammy) and grandchild, Grayson.
A celebration of his life will be held at Greendale MB Church, 6550 Sumas Prairie Rd., Chilliwack, BC, Saturday, July 4, 2009 at 2:00pm.
