It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great grandfather on October 17, 2012. Dad was born in Ituna, Saskatchewan on October 3, 1922. During the war he was stationed at Camp Chilliwack. It was during this time he met our mother Caroline. They were married for 60 years. He leaves behind three children, Beverly(Robert), Gordon(Elsie) and Ronald, a granddaughter, Jennifer(Dale) and two great grandaughters, Rachel and Lauren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Anne, brother Bill and sisters Stella and Katie. Dad was predeceased by our mother in 2005. We are forever grateful to Joy, Dad’s primary caregiver and to Pacita and Cristina whose devoted care allowed dad to remain in the house that he built and loved and to enjoy each day as it came. A celebration of life will be held in the spring with internment to follow in the family plot.
