Michael Joseph Connolly, age 87, of Rosedale British Columbia passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 25, 2022. Dad was born in Roundstone, Galway Ireland on September 16, 1934.
Dad is lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Christine. Dad will be greatly missed by his 4 children: Kevin, Dennis (Linda), Nuala (Monty), Brendan (Claudia), 4 grandchildren: Taylor (Tyler) , Sean, Siobhan, Ciara, 2 brothers: Pat (Margaret), John.
Dad was a man of all trades. Dad spent many hours in his shop coming up with his latest "brainstorm" ideas on fixing and inventing everything and anything.
Dad also spent a lot of his time gardening. Dad loved being outside and growing and maintaining beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. He was also the master of growing the perfect cedar hedge.
Dad loved all animals and especially those ones that needed to be rescued. Whether it was his dog Shadow or many of the neighborhood cats they all were drawn to Dad and watched him in his shop and his garden.
Dad we will miss not only your brilliant and never ending ideas but also your laugh and amazing sense of humor. We will carry on with your perseverance no matter what challenges we face in life.
