Mike came into my life in 1998 when I was 55 years old. Against all odds, he shared his love with me for over 25 precious years before succumbing to a relentless battle with dementia. In his provincial government capacity of Health Inspector and Licensing Officer, he was a proud Life Member of the BCGEU. After retirement in 2005, in between travels and California winters, he spent countless hours in various volunteer positions.
Also left to mourn are his children Jason and Karla from his first marriage, and large extended family especially siblings Lorraine, Linda, David and William. Predeceased by parents Fred and Joan, and sister Patricia. Love forever, wife Valerie.
