Michael Bradley Gordon passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Chilliwack, BC at age 33 years. He was born on November 25, 1974 in Edmonton, Alberta. Mike is survived by his wife Janette, son Austin, mother Lynn, father Morris (Gail), brother Travis, step-siblings Chris, Amanda and Scott, grandmother Victoria Holosney, grandfather Elmer Gordon, parents-in-law and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Edward Holosney, grandmother Lillian Gordon and uncle Miles Gordon. Mike was born and raised in Alberta and came to Chilliwack as a teenager. He graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary in 1993. Following that, he worked at Uneeda Wood Products. In 1998 he married Janette. He then became a Correctional Officer in 2000 and worked at Pacific Institution. There hebecamea member of the Emergency Response Team. His son Austin was born in 2003. In 2004, Mike became a realtor with Homelife Glenayre Realty, but he had a dream of starting his own company. His dream became a reality with Best Bet Realty. In two short years he took his company farther than anyone could have imagined. Mike left us far too soon. We will always remember his great smile and laugh, his positive attitude and his never-ending energy. He will be terribly missed by his wife and son. A private funeral service was held on August 29, 2008 at First Avenue Christian Assembly.
