On Tuesday Feb 9, 2021, Michael Allan Creasey of Edmonton passed away at the age of 56 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his father and name sake, Michael Creasey (Darlene), brother James (Michelle), uncle Ron(Penny) aunt Anita (David) , aunt Janet (David) and numerous relatives and friends .
He will also be dearly missed long time caregiver and friend Janine and by his friends at Dollarama where he worked for many years.
He was predeceased by his loving mother Bernice and nephew Jake.
To say Michael was a fighter would be an understatement. While faced with many challenges, you would never hear Michael complain. Michael was fiercely independent and as a teenager he made a solo trip to the U.K. to see his aunt and uncle. He loved to go for trips with his dad in his semi and if that wasn't an option he would find one of his dad's friends that he might persuade to take him.
Michael lived in Richmond B.C., Kelowna B.C., Williams Lake B.C., and settled in Edmonton creating lasting friendships along the way.
He was an avid sports fan and travelled with the junior hockey team from Williams Lake for years. He was a season ticket holder for Edmonton Eskimos, and an avid Oilers fan as well.
Memorial Donations may be made in Michael's name to Cerebral Palsy Alberta (www.cpalberta.com) or G.F.Strong Rehabilitation Center (www.vch.ca)
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
