With sadness we announce the sudden passing of Michael Abel, 23 and Peter Louis, 32 (who were on their way to attend a funeral/memorial service for a loved one in Alberta) as the result of a car accident in the Golden area, Saturday, November 10, 2007.
We mourn with the families involved and the whole Sudanese community with this tragic loss of loved ones.
Michael was a dear son, brother, and uncle and is survived by his father Icoko Belu Abel, Sudan; his brother Albert (Rose) and their children, Mersilia, Daniel, Easton and Grace, Chilliwack; four sisters, two brothers and extended family, Sudan.
Predeceased by his mother, Benadeta Gondra, Sudan.
Peter is survived by one brother and two sisters in Sudan.
Both Michael and Peter will be missed by their friends here.
Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at the Free Reformed Church of Chilliwack, 45471 Yale Road, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
Interment will take place later in Sudan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diaconate Fund of the Free Reformed Church would be appreciated.
