It with great sadness that we announce the passing our beloved Menno Schulz, born in Herbert, Saskatchewan.
He is survived by sisters Helene, Betty(Abe), brother Henry(Jean), son Terry(Sandi), daughter Lynn(Paul), grandchildren Amanda(Justin), Travis(Ashley), Terry, Michael, Tammi(Justin), Jesse(Tanis) Matthew(Annalisa), and great grand children Taylor, Zachary, Miles, Atlas, Avery and James as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends. Menno was pre-deceased by his wife Margaret (2017) and his son Reginald (1980).
He will be fondly remembered for is amazing love and care of others. After a career at the University of Manitoba, he moved his family to Chilliwack where he worked primarily in the agricultural field for John Deere and as the manager of the Chilliwack Agricultural Employment office. He volunteered countless hours at Eden Mennonite Church, MCC and as a board member and chairman of the Mennonite Benevolent Society.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at East Two, Menno Home for the love and care shown to Menno and our family during his stay there.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday March 22, 11 am at Eden Mennonite Church, 46551 Chilliwack Central Rd., Chilliwack, BC
