We, the family of Matthew Brink, are saddened to announce his passing in Kelowna on September 30, 2012. Matthew is survived by his parents, Wendy and Ed; his sister, Allie; grandpa, Dave; Auntie Shirley-Ann King and his grandma, Hermina Brink with whom he enjoyed many special dinners at her home. He also will be remembered by many extended family and close friends. He was predeceased by his grandpa, Martin Brink and grandma, Linda Nicks.
Matthew enjoyed his work as an electrician. He loved heavy metal music, his favourite band being Pantera. He loved going to concerts and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Spending Sundays sitting home watching football was one of his most enjoyable things to do. Matthew loved his dog, Dime very much and spent many an afternoon on the Vedder River with him.
A Celebration of Matthew’s life will be held at a later date.
We take solace in the knowledge that Matthew is finally happy and free of the things which haunted him.
