Granddaughter of East Chilliwack pioneers, Jack and Mary Hickman, Margaret Elizabeth Mary was born in Chilliwack to Joyce and Tom Hickman February 8, 1944. She passed away November 17, 2020 in Fort Worth, TX .
A graduate of Chilliwack High School, class of 1961, Mary enjoyed a long career in the air freight business. She graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and retired from Hill's Pet Nutrition as Marketing Manager at the corporate headquarters in Topeka, KS.
Mary married Gregory Whittaker of Toulon, Illinois in 1963. They raised their two daughters in Aurora, Colorado.
She is survived by daughters, Kim (Brian) Koontz, their son, Dylan, and Teresa (JR) Farmer and their son, JT, all of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Pat (Sandy) Hickman of Vernon, B.C., and sister , Lynda Studebaker of Vancouver, WA.
She was predeceased by her parents, sister Jane Khazen and nephew Scott Studebaker.
