Porter, Mary Ann (Nee: Burgener)
Mary Ann Porter of Chase, BC, age 70 passed away at Kamloops RIH on August 7, 2014 due to months long fight with unknown sickness. Mary is survived by her loving husband Frank Fenkhuber and children Elizabeth Fenkuber of NFLD and Jeffrey Fenkbuker of Kamloops. She will be missed dearly by her mom Patricia; sister Yvonne and brothers Ed, Les and Foster; and her grandchildren Katie, Isaac, Solera, Nikyla and all of her family and friends. Mary was born in Chilliwack, BC where she graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School. She enjoyed track and field, baseball and science and she helped in raising of her sister and brothers. Mary enjoyed traveling, seeing the beauty within Canada coast to coast and spending time with her family and friends. Her love for nature and the environment led her to spending most of her spare time with the Kamloops Naturalist Club which followed right along with her hobbies of bird watching, canoeing, hiking and gardening. At this time no formal ceremony has been determined. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kamloops Naturalist Club in Mary's name would be appreciated.
