On January 9, 2011, Mrs. Mary Hawryluk of Edmonton, formerly of Chilliwack passed away at the age of 84 years.
Mary is survived by her loving family; special friend, Ted Matys; children, William (Yvette) Hawryluk of Edson, Margaret (Roger) Riehl of Wildwood, Carl (Carol) Hawryluk of Chilliwack, BC, Dina (Bill) Turlock of Spruce Grove, Andy (Joan) Hawryluk of Chilliwack, BC, Gloria Hawryluk of Abbotsford, BC, Rick (Thea) Hawryluk of Edmonton and Alicia (Rod) Spenst of Chilliwack, BC; 34 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Chopko and daughter-in-law, Mary Hawryluk, both of Edmonton. Predeceased by her husband, John Hawryluk; two sons, Mike and Ted; great-great-grandson, Theodore David Quinnten; one brother, Paul and two sisters, Rose and Anne.
Memorial Service Monday, January 17 at 11:30 am at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, #1010, 10117 Jasper Ave., Edmonton AB T5J 1W8.
