It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Thiessen, after a lengthy illness, in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 84 years. She was born in Grunthal, Manitoba.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Rhonda and her sister Marge.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Hank; her son, Raymond; sisters: Gay and Anne; and her parents: Margrethe and Henry Toews.
Mom was a kind and caring person, who will be missed by all who knew her.
A special thank you to Dr. John Chow, for all his years of excellent care for mum.
A private family service will be held at Mary’s request. If any so desire, memorial donations may be directed to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
